Matt Leibel

Matt leads Tunnl’s engineering, data, machine learning, security, and technology operations teams. He is responsible for the company’s technology strategy, platform architecture, AI and data innovation, product delivery, and scaling the organization to support Tunnl’s next phase of growth. His focus is on building trusted audience intelligence products, accelerating innovation through AI, and creating high-performing teams that deliver measurable value to customers.

Matt brings more than 25 years of technology leadership experience and over 15 years leading product, engineering, data science, and machine learning organizations. Prior to joining Tunnl, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Xometry, where he helped scale the company through its public offering and international expansion. During his tenure, he grew the global technology organization from 32 to more than 220 professionals across software engineering, data science, machine learning, data engineering, infrastructure, and security. He also led multiple acquisitions and technology integrations, including the acquisition of Thomasnet, and helped establish strategic AI and cloud partnerships with industry leaders.

Before Xometry, Matt held senior technology leadership roles at Vistaprint and Resonate, where he helped build and scale data-driven products, modern software platforms, and high-growth engineering organizations. Throughout his career, he has focused on applying data, analytics, and artificial intelligence to solve complex business problems and create competitive advantage.

Matt is passionate about building exceptional teams, developing future technology leaders, and creating products that customers love. He lives in Northern Virginia and enjoys spending time with family, mentoring entrepreneurs and technology leaders, and exploring the intersection of AI, product innovation, and organizational effectiveness.
